Tijana Grumić

Tijana Grumić is Serbian playwright and dramaturg. Her plays for children and youth were staged at the youth theatre DADOV in Belgrade (4 Colours, 5 Guns; Donuts, Love and Some Other Stuff; Oliver Twist, This is The Worst Day of My Life) and at the Little Theatre ”Duško Radović” in Belgrade (Utopia). She worked as a dramaturg on a couple of TYA performances – The Coconut Thieves (dir. Anđelka Nikolić) at the Little Theatre ”Duško Radović” in Belgrade and White Mane (dir. Irena Ristić) at the City Theatre in Šabac, Serbia, The Blue Bird (dir. Sonja Petrović) at the Sombor National Theatre. In 2018 and 2019, as a participant of The Next Generation Workspace artistic residency in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) she created and performed a piece for children and youth called Space Girls with three other colleagues. She is currently undertaking her artistic PhD studies at The Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade where the main field of her research is TYA. Tijana is the curator of The Festival of Ecological Theatre for Children and Youth in Bačka Palanka, Serbia.
